HB models are pivoting windows with handles in the lower part of the frame. This makes them easy to maneuver and gives them excellent visibility.
The moveable wing pivots on two steel hinges with reinforced disk clutches and a brake that acts on their entire opening travel, keeping the frame stopped in any position. The friction force of the clutch can be adjusted from inside thanks to a self-locking screw that can be accessed only in the wing's maximum opening position.
The anodized aluminum closure handle is positioned in the lower part of the window to make it easy to maneuver. Thanks to its double striker it can generate a minimal amount of ventilation even with the window closed: a great help to prevent condensate from forming on the glass window (caused by too much humidity inside the room). The wing is hinged at the center of the frame, causing its top section to lower down into the room when it is opened. This model can be motorized. If an electrical supply is installed (see section drive set-up) then it can even be automated in a subsequent time period.
